Jaipur (20.12.2022): Acrimony between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his former deputy Sachin Pilot has reached the point of no return. But the Congress leadership has made up its mind to give Pilot a chance and Gehlot, who refused party president’s post for CM’s post, is being placated. However, the party will go ahead even if he doesn’t relent. Grapevine is abuzz that he too has some plans either his son Vaibhav Gehlot may join the BJP or the father-son duo may launch a party if pushed to the brink. But the statement of Rahul Gandhi about possible good news suggests that Gehlot agreed to give way to Pilot. But for Pilot this adage that there is a slip between the cup and the lip has always been more appropriate.
