Indianmandarins has learnt that a Secretary rank post in the PMO has been deliberately kept vacant for Bhaskar Khulbe (IAS:1983:WB) who is currently serving as Additional Secretary, PMO. Those in the know of things say that immediately after the 1983 batch IAS empanelment takes place, Khulbe would be elevated (in-situ) as Secretary (PMO) vice R Ramanujam.
The post has been lying vacant since September 2014 after R Ramanujam completed his extended tenure on September 30, 2014.
In case, the buzz turned out to be true, Khulbe would be the first (or second one) to be in-situ elevated to a Secretary rank post.
