In close judicial circuits it has been a buzz that Justice Gorla Rohini, first woman Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, may chose to be back to Andhra Pradesh as High Court Chief Justice. Sources say that earlier she had brighter prospects to be elevated as Supreme Court Judge, vice Justice S J Mukhopadhyay, but the SC Collegium had finally recommended the name of Justice Amitava Roy (CJ, Odisha HC) in February this year. Justice Rohini had filled in the post of Justice N V Ramana who had vacated it in February last year following his elevation as a judge of the SC. She was administered oath as CJ of Delhi HC in April 2014.
