For last few days a very strong buzz has been doing rounds in the corridors of power Raghuram Rajan, the incumbent RBI Governor, may be replaced in coming days. The name of former Union Finance Secretary Ashok Chawla (Rtd IAS:1973:GJ), Chairman of Competition Commission of India, has been in circulation as the first choice of the present government in case Rajan would be given an honored exit.
