It is not just to break the stereotype but expansion of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) too has forced the organization to clarify doubts about the organizations with the international media which was constantly under attack. As besides India, the organization has its presence in over 50 other countries.

The RSS chief’s interaction with 70-odd journalist writing for foreign newspapers, periodical and websites is an attempt to reach out to these scribes to explain objective for which the RSS was formed and how it works and what are its activities throughout the year.

When the BJP was not in power, its leaders too used to defend the RSS on many occasion especially on ideological issues but now they have to defend themselves and RSS’ expansion is at its zenith. The RSS had meetings with journalists in its roaster. Earlier, the RSS chief used to meet like-minded journalists at its Jhandewalan office quite frequently.
