The public-sector head-hunter (PESB) on Thursday selected Manoj Kumar (Functional Director, WCL) for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Western Coalfields Ltd. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval he will replace R R Mishra; the outgoing CMD retiring December this year. As WCL CMD Manoj Kumar would have a tenure up to January 2024. Altogether 08 candidates were interviewed at a selection meeting held at PESB today.
