Lucknow (04.03.2023): The Uttar Pradesh government has approved VRS of Vidya Bhushan (IAS: 2008: UP). Vidya Bhushan is currently posted as MD of PVVNL in Varanasi. He was posted on this post on 27 April 2021. He had applied to the government for VRS on medical reasons.Bhushan’s wife Alankrita Singh was suspended in April 2022 for visiting London and remaining there for six months without informing the office. Last year five IAS officers – Sreenivasulu (IAS: 2005: UP), Vidya Bhushan (IAS: 2008: UP), Renuka Kumar (IAS: 1987: UP), Juthika Patankar (IAS: 1988: UP), Vikas Gothawal (IAS: 2003: UP) – sought VRS.
