New Delhi: To look into the progress of one of the most ambitious projects in the country of redeveloping the complex meant for exhibiting things into state-of-the-art International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), Union minister for commerce and industry and minister for railways Piyush Goyal visited Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on August 19, 2019. The project is commissioned to India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO).

The minister also visited the site who was accompanied by Dr P K Mishra, Additional Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Union Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha and Union Commerce Secretary Dr Anup Wadhawan. L C Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO briefed them about the special features and how the project is being implemented.

Power corridors are abuzz about Union Cabinet secretary and PM’s Additional P S Dr P K Mishra visiting the site and speculations continue to be rife.
