The Payments Council of India (PCI) announced the appointment of Vishwas Patel as its new Chairman. Currently, Patel is with Infibeam Avenues as Director. He replaces Naveen Surya who was elevated as Chairman Emeritus of the Council. PCI is the apex body representing the companies in the payments and settlement system. Patel has been associated with PCI since its inception in 2013 and was serving as its Co-Chairman.
