New Delhi (21.03.2025): Vivek Kumar Dewangan (IAS: 1993: MN) completed his term as CMD, Rural Electric Corporation (REC) on 20.03.2025. Following the completion of his tenure the Centre on Thursday entrusted the additional charge of CMD, REC to Parminder Chopra, the incumbent CMD of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for a period of three months or until further orders. It may be underlined that the Ministry of Power, in an order issued two years back in May 2023, had fixed Dewangan’s tenure in REC upto 20.03.2025 i.e. combined tenure of 7 years in the Ministry of Power and REC. On completion of specified seven years long tenure in the Government of India Dewangan handed over the baton to Parminder Chopra, CMD, PFC.

New Delhi (21.03.2025): Vivek Kumar Dewangan (IAS: 1993: MN) completed his term as CMD, Rural Electric Corporation (REC) on 20.03.2025. Following the completion of his tenure the Centre on Thursday entrusted the additional charge of CMD, REC to Parminder Chopra, the incumbent CMD of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for a period of three months or until further orders.
