New Delhi (09.11.2023): Senior advocate Apporva Agrawal has been appointed as Additional Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh in the Supreme Court of India. The Governor of the state has issued the order in this regard. Agrawal will be representing the state in various court proceedings. Additional Advocate General is supposed to perform such duties of Advocate General as may be assigned to him which include advisory duties, legislative duties and various other duties. Agrawal has worked in collaboration with many legal luminaries such as Senior Advocate K K Venugopal, Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, Senior Advocate Harish Salve and Advocate Kailash Vasdev.
