UP by-elections: Naqvi likely from Rampur; leader from the ranks in Azamgarh

New Delhi (01.06.2022): It seems that Muslim leaders of the BJP will now have to prove their worth in the party. After Rajya Sabha ticket being denied to Syed Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, he may be fielded from the Rampur by-election. But the most interesting election is likely to happen in Azamgarh where the BJP is planning to field the person from the rank. So leaders like Bhojpuri star Dinesh Lal Nirahuwa, district president Dhruv Kumar Singh, former district president Jaynath Singh, district Vice President Brijesh Yadav and former student union president of Sibli College Ramakant Mishra are in the race.
