Bengaluru (21.02.2023): The Karnataka government has enacted a minor reshuffle to transfer two top Karnataka women officers, who were indulged in an ugly public spat over posting personal photos on social media. They have been transferred without posting with immediate effect.
The quarrel between Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Managing Director D Roopa Moudgil (IPS: 2001: KN) and IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri (IAS: 2009: KN) has been continuing despite warning from the government.
  1. Munish Moudgil (IAS: 1998: KN) has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Administrative Reforms), vice Dr Srivatsa Krishna., IAS, transferred.
  2. Basavarajendra H (IAS: 2012: KN) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, vice Rohini Sindhuri Dasari (IAS: 2009: KN), transferred.
  3. C.N.Sreedhara (IAS: 2012: KN) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Survey Settlement & Land Records, vice Munish Moudgil, IAS transferred.
  4. Bharathi D (IAS: 2013: KN) has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd vice Roopa D (IPS: 2001: KN), transferred.
  5. Darshan H V (IAS: 2016: KN) has been posted as Commissioner, Tumkuru Municipal Corporation, Tumkuru vice Yogananda transferred.
