New Delhi (13.07.2023): The President of India has appointed Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice SV Bhatti as judges of the Supreme Court after the Supreme Court collegium had recommended their elevation last week. at present Justice Bhuyan is the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court and Justice Bhatti is the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. Now the Supreme Court will have a strength of 32 judges out of the sanctioned strength of 34 judges. Justice Bhuyan will have a term till August 2, 2029 and Justice Bhatti till May 6, 2027.
