Power corridors are abuzz that two Joint Directors in the CBI are working under uncertainty over their stay in CBI. Reportedly, the CBI Director has proposed to the Govt of India for extension of services of Joint Directors Anurag Garg (IPS:1993:HP) and R P Agarwal (IPS:1986:AM) who are set to complete their five years tenure under central deputation.
Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that R P Agarwal may shortly be given an extension but uncertainty still largely looms over Garg's extension.
Prabodh Kumar (IPS:1988:PB) and Keshav Kumar (IPS:1986:GJ) repatriated in April and May respectively after completing their three months extended tenure.
