New Delhi (11.12.2023): The public sector head-hunter (PESB) has scheduled the selection interview for the post of CMD, IRCON International on 19 December. It has shortlisted twelve candidates comprising three each from IRCON and  Ministry of Railways, two from Rail Vikas Nigan Ltd (RVNL.
The list of shortlisted candidates goes as follows:
  1. Parag Verma, Director (Works), IRCON International Ltd
  2. Yogesh Kumar Misra (ED, IRCON)
  3. Surender Singh (ED, Special Works, IRCON)
  4. R M Bhadang, Director (Finance), Konkan Railway (KRCL)
  5.  Rajkumar Rathi (ED, Engineers India Ltd)
  6. Anurag (ED, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd)
  7. Ajit Singh (ED, RVNL)
  8. Hari Mohan Gupta, Director (Infra), Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation
  9. T. S. C. Bosh (ED, REC Ltd)
  10. Somesh Kumar (Additional DRM, Ministry of Railways)
  11. Mahesh Kumar Garg (Chief Technology Officer, M/o Railways)
  12. Vijay Kumar (Director- Rolling Stock, NHSRCL)
The CMD post in IRCON has been lying vacant since April 29, 2023 against which applications were invited in the first week of August. 
If some well-placed sources are to be believed the selection of the next CMD may surprise several who’s who in the public sector.
