The union government transferred three IAS and one IPS officers out of Goa while three IPS and two IAS officers from Delhi have been brought in. The IAS officers transferred out of Goa include Director of Official Languages Padma Jaiswal, who has been transferred to Puducherry. Panchayat Secretary PS Reddy and Secretary for Industries and Urban Development Sudhir Mahajan have been transferred to Andaman and Nicobar islands. Mahajan also served at the Goa Real Estate Regulatory Authority and oversaw the implementation of the center's Smart City Mission. In their place, 2003-batch IAS officer AK Bhandari and 2008 batch IAS officer Chokha Ram Garg have been transferred to Goa. Bhandari and Garg were serving with the Delhi government. Similarly, three senior police officers from Delhi Police have also been transferred to Goa. They are Kime Kaming and Rajesh Kumar. The officers have been asked to hand over their charges and report to their next posting.
