The The Appointment Committee of Cabinet on Thursday (15 Sept 2016) cleared the appointments to the post of Chairman & Managing Director in three Central PSUs which are as follows:
Atul Bhatt appointed to the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), MECON Limited for which he was selected by PESB on 23 May 2016. Currently Bhatt serves as Executive Director, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC).
R Sreenivasulu appointed to the post of CMD, Scooters India Limited. Currently he serves with RINL as DGM. The Public sector headhunter had selected him for the post on 13 June 2016. Ms Vinita Srivastava (Director, DHI) will continue to hold the post till the ministry issues him the appointment letter.
Rokkam Gopala Rao has been appointed as Managing Director, Hindustan Newsprint Limited (HNL). Rao was selected for the post by PESB on 17 March 2016. Currently he serves with as Director (Finance), Instrumentation Limited.
