Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Benchilo Thong (IAS:1987:NL) may soon be appointed as the new Chief Secretary to the Govt of Nagaland. The incumbent Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar (IAS:1987:NL) is expected to be appointed as an Additional Secretary in the Govt of India in the second week of January.
Reportedly, once Kumar is relieved by the state govt would the announcement of Thong as the CS may follow.
