Though Congress has thrown it's hat into the ring by pitching-in an unconditional support to JD (S), Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) looks set to return to power in the state; thereby being in a position to form government. If it does so these are three officers to watch out for. In the new BJP Government of Karnataka three officers may hold special importance and may almost certainly call the shots in the new government and appointment of key officers. ISN Prasad (IAS:1986:KN): Prasad is ACS Finance and former Secretary to Sadananda Gowda when he was Chief Minister and is deeply trusted by both State BJP and Congress, and was favourite of both Yeddyurappa and Siddaramaiah. This AP native officer has strong grip on the state and is considered honest and effective. Srivatsa Krishna (IAS:1994:KN): Srivatsa is very well regarded and trusted by the ruling top powers in Delhi, and consulted on key matters and is native of Delhi. Krishna is a Oxford University and Harvard University business administration graduate. He is considered no-nonsense officer and served as IT Secretary in Karnataka earlier before falling out with CM Siddaramaiah, who hounded him out inconsequential posts. Ritvik Ranjam Pandey (IAS:1999:KN): He was Commissioner Commercial Taxes, and was publicly praised by FM Arun Jaitley and Hasmukh Adhia for GST implementation. Happens to be son-in-law of Principal Secretary to PM also. He is again a brilliant strict officer now in Government of India, considered the last word on GST matters These three officers will almost certainly get key positions in new Government.
