Visit of President Ramnath Kovind to Ayodhya to pay his obeisance to Lord Ram which is his second visit to Uttar Pradesh in past two months suggest so. UP is in election mode and so is the BJP, the President’s visit will certainly give political mileage to the BJP. Stone laying was done by a Dalit, the first-ever president offering his obeisance to Ram Lalla and some similar act just before the 2024 General Election will be part of the strategy. However, the strategy for the opposition is to remain busy answering the narrative set by the BJP.
