Noida (28.06.2022): A one-stop pay accounting solution for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is gone on stream.
Nicknamed the Padma, this centralized pay system leverages the latest technology to ensure seamless and fault-free payment of monthly salary and allowances to 15,000 ICG personnel.
Controller General of Defence AccountsRajnish Kumar (IDAS) inaugurated Padma in the presence of Additional Director General Rakesh Pal, PTM, TM ADG(CG), and other senior officers of Defence Accounts Department, Ministry of Defence.
Rozy Agarwal, IDAS, Controller of Defence Accounts (Navy/Coast Guard), said that ‘PADMA’ will serve as a unique module for timely disbursal of Pay & Allowances and will provide end-to-end Pay Accounting Services integrating the inputs from Indian Coast Guard modules like ‘PARAM’.
