The The Appointment Committee of Cabinet today cleared the appointments to the post of Chairman & Managing Director in three Central PSUs which are as follows:
CMDE Rakesh Anand appointed to the post of CMD, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited for which he was selected by the public sector headhunter on 02nd August 2016. Rakesh Anand will succeed the outgoing CMD Rear Adm R K Shrawat on 01st January 2017. Shrawat will retire on 31st December 2016.
M V Gowtama (ED- Missile System, BEL) appointed to the post of CMD, Bahrat Electronics Limited, a post he was selected for on 11th July 2016. Currently the post is vacant and Ms Vinita Srivastava (Director, DHI) holds the additional charge of CMD. Reportedly, the ministry is expected to issues him the appointment letter shortly.
Tehri Hydro Development Corporation also gets new CMD as ACC ratified the appointment of Dhirendra Veer Singh. Singh was selected tfor the post on 21st July 2016. Currently he serves as Director (Technical) in THDC. He will replace the outgoing CMD R S T Sai who is set to superannuate on 30th November 2016.
