Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Govt of India has received a proposal from the Govt of Andhra Pradesh seeking its approval for giving an extension to its outgoing Chief Secretary Sathya Prakash Tucker (IAS:1981:AP).
Tucker is set to complete his extended tenure on 30 November 2016. Having appointed as Chief Secretary w.e.f. 1st February 2016, Tucker was scheduled to retire from the coveted post on 30 August. The Chandrababu administration had extended his service for three months ending 30th November 2016.
In case the centre approves the proposal of the state government, Tucker will get the opportunity to continue as CS till 28 February 2017.

Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Govt of India has received a proposal from the Govt of Andhra Pradesh seeking its approval for giving an extension to its outgoing Chief Secretary Sathya Prakash Tucker (IAS:1981:AP).
Tucker is set to complete his extended tenure on 30 November 2016. Having appointed as Chief Secretary w.e.f. 1st February 2016, Tucker was scheduled to retire from the coveted post on 30 August. The Chandrababu administration had extended his service for three months ending 30th November 2016.
In case the centre approves the proposal of the state government, Tucker will get the opportunity to continue as CS till 28 February 2017.
