Arvind Ranjan (IPS:KL:1979), the incumbent DG of CISF, is all set to superannuate on April 30. Name of some other prospective officers are also doing rounds. Next name in contention is Krishna Chaudhary (IPS:BH:1979), currently DG, ITBP. But he too is not very much keen. Reportedly he would rather prefer BSF as his foremost choice which would fall vacant in March 2016. After heading the high altitude boarder guarding forces (ITBP) Chaudhary will remain a logical claimant for BSF, the border guarding security forces in March next year.
