Sudhir Bhargava appointed as Information Commissioner

Sudhir Bhargava (IAS:1979: RJ), former Social Justice and Empowerment Secretary, has been named as Information Commissioner. Mr. Bhargava will have a tenure of more than four years.
He had also worked as Special Secretary in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He also served as a Government Director at Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd.
