New Delhi (18.12.2024): President of Sri Lanka Anura Kumara Disanayaka visited Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra at AIIMS in New Delhi on December 17, 2024 during his official visit to India. Dr Arunish Chawla (IAS: 1992: BH), Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India along with Dr M Srinivas, Director AIIMS and Ravi Dadhich, CEO, PMBI felicitated distinguished guests and explained to them about the Janaushadhi - PMBJP model to provide quality generic medicines at affordable prices to the citizens.The Sri Lankan President appreciated efforts made by the Government of India in this regard and showed keen interest in implementing the flagship Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) in his country.
