3996The public-sector head-hunter on Monday selected Mrs Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), SAIL, for the post of Chairman, SAIL; a post which is scheduled to fall vacant on 31 December 2020 with the superannuation of the incumbent SAIL Chairman A K Chaudhary. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval she would become the first woman Chairperson, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). As many as six persons were interviewed for the same.
