New Delhi (30.01.2026): The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has promoted three Indian Revenue Service officers (IT) to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Pr CCIT) and three other officers to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT) for the panel year 2026 on in-situ basis w.e.f. 01.04.2026. The officers will continue to hold the charge of the post, which they were holding before promotion, till their formal posting is ordered.
