New Delhi (19.04,2023): The Centre on Tuesday confirmed the services of 146 IAS officers belonging to 2020 batch of various cadres who were selected by the UPSC through Civil Services examinations. They have been confirmed in service w.e.f. October 12, 2022.
As usual Uttar Pradesh got the maximum 17 IAS officers allocated followed by Tamil Nadu which got 12 IAS officers. Ten officers were allocated to Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra each whereas Bihar, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan got six each. Sikkim got one whereas Uttarakhand got two IAS officers.
Surprisingly, out of 146 officers no allocations were made to four states namely West Bengal, Kerala, Manipur and Nagaland. Punjab got four officers that included Chandrajyoti Singh, Harjinder Singh, Nikas Kumar, Ojasvi.
Haryana got five officers including Deepak Babulal Karwa, Harshit Kumar, Jaysharadha C, Pankaj, Pradeep Singh while Himachal Pradesh got four officers that includes Abhishek Kumar Garg, Divyanshu Singal, Gursimar Singh, Om Kant Thakur.
