New Delhi (08.02.2025): Sensing a thumping majority to BJP and AAP’s debacle in the Delhi Assembly results, Delhi LG V K Saxena, in lightning speed, passed three crucial ordersto the senior officials to ascertain that all files/records and documents be recalled swiftly from the office of the Chief Minister and ministers. He also ordered an immediate seizure of file and computer hard-disks and a complete check on the movements of persons in the Delhi Secretariate without proper authorisation.
The order says, “All Additional Chief Secretaries/Principal Secretaries/Secretaries to the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi are advised to get back all pending files/documents/records with the offices of Chief Minister/ Ministers, GNCTD. After formation of the new Government, such files/documents may be resubmitted to the Chief Minister/ Ministers concerned, as the case may be, after fresh examination of the subject matter.”
It further says, “Officers working in the offices of Chief Minister/Ministers are directed to return all pending files/ documents/records to the concerned Administrative Secretary of the Department concerned. To address security issues, it is directed that no unauthorized person (s) may be allowed to enter Delhi Secretariat complex without permission from appropriate authority. Entry to private persons to Delhi Secretariat complex shall be ensured only after due verification of identity and purpose of visit.”
