New Delhi (04.07.2023): The President of India has accepted the voluntary retirement of senior bureaucrat Mrs Tanu Chandra (IRAS: 1988). She had applied for VRS in the first week of June. Currently, she is working as Principal Financial Adviser in Northern Railway. According to the terms of VRS she will demit office on w.e.f. 04 September 2023, over two years ahead of her superannuation age i.e. 31 July 2025. It may be underlined that she is wife of ace bureaucrat Apurva Chandra (IAS: 1988: MH) who will be hanging his boots September next year. Currently he is Union Secretary for Information & Broadcasting.
