UP cadre IPS officer from 1995 batch Amrendra Kumar Sengar, who has been on deputation with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) initially, has replaced Home Minister Rajnath Singh's OSD Binod K Singh (IPS:1994:UP). Currently Sengar has been attached to HM's office as OSD which may shortly get ACC sanction. Singh had, recently, completed his central deputation tenure. He had earlier served with NSG and took over as the Home Minister's OSD in 2014. He is likely to be promoted on his return to his home cadre.
