Ministry swung into action against the HC order on content of court. Subsequently, the Supreme Court today stayed the order
passed by the Calcutta High Court's Port Blair Circuit Bench which suspended
Keshav Chandra (IAS: 1995: AGMUT), the Chief Secretary of the Andaman &
Nicobar Islands Administration, and fined Admiral D K Joshi, the Lt Governor, a
sum of Rs 5 lakh to be paid from his own funds for not implementing Calcutta
