Kuldeep Saini has been
posted as the IG of BSF Meghalaya Frontier following the transfer of Lalatendu
Mohanti, IPS IG to Force HQ, New Delhi. Saini took the charge as Inspector
General, Border Security Force, Meghalaya Frontier at Shillong on 08th
Jan’2019. Saini moved from his
permanent posting from Subsidiary Training Centre, Jodhpur (Rajasthan). He
belongs to the 1984 (Direct Entry) batch and one of the most experienced
officers who has served all over the country. He has been awarded the President
Police Medal for Meritorious Service & President Police Medal for
Distinguished Service and other such awards in recognization of his dedication
while executing duties. He also has experience of
serving in the Valley (Jammu & Kashmir) during the militancy on its peak.
