New Delhi (18.12.2024): The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) on Wednesday selected Sanjiv Kumar Singh for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Hindustan Copper Limited; a Schedule ‘A’ Central PSU. A total seven people were interviewed. Currently, Singh is posted as Director (Mining) Hindustan Copper Limited. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, he will be appointed as the next CMD, HCL. The post fell vacant following the retirement of Arun Kumar Shukla on July 31, 2023. PESB had invited applications from experienced candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility for the post by October 24, 2024.
