New Delhi (06.11.2024): A very senior All India Services (AIS) officer on deputation at the Centre seems to have fallen from favour of the New Delhi dispensation and a retired AIS officer is gradually taking over the command. Grapevine is abuzz that despite the fact that the said officer was entrusted with the job and was expected to nurture the narrative and counter the narratives against the opposition, he chose to follow the copybook by relying more on people from his tribe. Now when sand is sedimented and water becomes clearer to understand that what went wrong for the Modi government to win with reduced numbers, it is being concluded that the officer misses the spark that the incumbent government needed. Apparently, the officer failed to understand that there is no place for status coaist in this government harming his future prospects too.
