Review empanelment of 1986 batch IAS: SCOS meeting today

Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the SCOS meeting is being held today to discuss report of expert panel on review of 1986 batch of IAS officers as Additional Secretary. If some reliable sources are to believed approx 11 IAS officers of 1986 batch are being considered for review empanelment.
It may be recalled that 32 IAS officers belonging to 1986 batch wre empanelled as Additional Secretary (including 03 as AS equivalent) on June 14, 2016 and further on 18 July 2016 M K Parida (1986 batch IAS) was empanelled as AS equivalent.
Reportedly, there the committee will take up some cases of 1985 batch for review empanelment.
