Patna (28.04.2023): A former IRS officer Anupam Kumar Suman filed a PIL in the Patna High Court challenging the release through amendment made in the prison manual by the Nitish Kumar government after convicted former MP Anand Mohan was freed from jail.Anupam Kumar Suman Tweeted: "I have filed a PIL in the Hon'ble HC yesterday, challenging the dangerous amendment in Bihar which has given relaxation to the convict in the murder of a government servant. I hope that justice will be done and the rule of law will be established. Satyameva Jayate." Anand Mohan was convicted in the 1994 murder of IAS officer G Krishnaiah and was serving a life sentence in the case.

Patna (28.04.2023): A former IRS officer Anupam Kumar Suman filed a PIL in the Patna High Court challenging the release through amendment made in the prison manual by the Nitish Kumar government after convicted former MP Anand Mohan was freed from jail.
