Ms Rani Nagar (IAS:2014:HY) resorted to social media alleging 'sexual harassment' by her senior, an Additional Chief Secretary rank IAS officer under whom she serves as Additional Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry. In her Facebook posts, she has narrated a series of attempts of harassment which, she claimed, started after she joined the department in the second week of May 2018. While narrating her story she has claimed that her senior has been threatening her against her habit of putting noting on files. Reportedly, she has complained to the President of India as well. It may be mentioned that earlier, at many occasions, she found herself in troubles and threat to life. Haryana police had, in December 2017, lodged an FIR against an unidentified person on a complaint by her. While serving in Sirsa as SDM Dabwali she had posted a video on Facebook claiming that the police "failed to initiate a prompt action" on her compliant In October 2016, also she had lodged a complaint after an auto driver attempted to abduct her in Ghaziabad during her posting in neighbouring district in Haryana.
