Raj Kumar Barthwal (IRS C&CE:1983) was on Friday appointed as Member, Central Board of Indirect Taxes (CBIC) vice S Ramesh (IRS C&CE:1981). The member post fell vacant following the appointment of S Ramesh as Board Chairman.
Prior to this Barthwal served as Director General Vigilance (CVO), CBIC (earlier CBEC).
