Some of the IAS officers have been utilizing the spare time from their hectic job schedule to creativity. One of them is the 1997 batch Punjab-cadre officer Rakhee Gupta. She has given her voice and sung a devotional song “Main Toh Ratungi Radha Naam”. This was premiered and released on YouTube by Times Music Spiritual on Monday, October 19.

The song is composed by Gaurav Dev and Kartik Dev and arranged by Kamal Kamavat.

The music video shows Rakhee absorbed in religious ecstasy and her whole being resonating to the divine tune. It unveils the hitherto unknown facet of this IAS officer presently serving the Punjab Government as its Resident Commissioner in New Delhi.

Even at her job, Rakhee is said to be equally proficient. She has been awarded the coveted Stree Shakti Puraskar for her administrative and leadership acumen.

She is also a recipient of the President of India’s Silver Medal for Census Operation in 2001. She has also served as NIFT Director and Joint Secretary, Home Affairs, and Deputy Commissioner Faridkot.
