Ahmedabad (01.03.2022): The Gujarat government has finally acted by shunting out Rajkot Police Commissioner Manoj Aggarwal (IPS:1991:GJ), against whom serious allegations pertaining to interventions in land dispute matters etc were leveled by a sitting minister, a Rajya Sabha member, and a local MLA, all three from the ruling party. After the allegations were made by the BJP leaders before the media, the state government was stunned and was forced to order an inquiry against Mr Agarwal who is considered to have proximity with the previous dispensation in the state. The inquiry was conducted by senior IPS Vikas Sahay, who has submitted his report to the state home department following which Aggarwal has been posted in Junagadh Police training college.
