Rajiv Yadav (IAS:1981:AM) on Wednesday appointed as Chairman, Brahmaputra Board. Reportedly he will take charge on June 18. Yadav will replace Sanjay Kundu (IPS:1989:HP); who is set to repatriated his parents cadre. During his bureaucratic career, Yadav worked mostly outside Assam. He was DC of Nalbari and also chairman of ASEB. He retired as Union Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in January 2018.
