The NaMo administration on Wednesday appointed former Secretary to the ACC and former Finance Secretary Rajiv Kumar (lAS:1984:JH) as new Chairman of the public-sector headhunter (PESB) for a period of three years. He replaces Kapil Dev Tripathi. It may be underlined that he was the one who issued the "Guidelines Regarding Board Level Appointments in Central Public Sector Enterprises" on 29 August 2017 during his tenure as Establishment Officer, DOPT.
