New Delhi (29.11.2023): Rajiv Bansal (Retd IAS: 1988: NL) assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG) on November 29, 2023. Bansal retired on August 31, 2023 as Union Civil Aviation Secretary. He also served as Chairman & Managing Director of Air India, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Secretary at the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. He has also held several key positions in the Government of Nagaland.
