NaMo administration on Wednesday pre-maturely repatriated Rajni Ranjan Rashmi (IAS:1983:MN) to his cadre state (Manipur). Currently he serves as Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. In the first week of March this year the serving Secretary, Min of Tribal Affairs, A K Srivastava (IAS:1980:AM) was pre-maturely repatriated. Reportedly, Srivastava was repatriated on his own request. It is understood that having only three months left in retirement he would have been repatriated to avail the retirement and pay scale benefits.
