Mumbai (30.10.2025): The Centre on Wednesday repatriated Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS: 1989: MH), Secretary, Department of Persons with Disabilities in the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, to Maharashtra. He will be joining the state government next week and may succeed state CS Rajesh Kumar (IAS: 1988: MH), who retires at the end of November.Kumar was due to retire on August 30 but received a three-month extension that ends next month. He took charge as the as the CS in June this year, after the retirement of the then CS Sujata Saunik.
