Punjab: Major bureaucratic reshuffle effected

Chandigarh (25.04.2022): The Punjab government reshuffled over a dozen IAS officers with immediate effect. These officers included:

Arun Sekhri (IAS: 2005: PB)- Labour commissioner.
Jaswinder Kaur Sidhu (IAS: 2005: PB)- Secretary, home affairs and justice.
DPS Kharbanda (IAS: 2007: PB)- Director of technical education.
Kumar Saurabh Raj (IAS: 2011: PB)- Special secretary, excise and taxation.
Rajiv Prashar (IAS: 2011: PB)- Special secretary, forest and wildlife.
Vipul Ujwal (IAS: 2009: PB)- Special secretary, water supply and sanitation.
Gurpreet Singh Khaira (IAS: 2009: PB)- Director, rural development.
Babita (IAS: 2009: PB)- Executive director of the scheduled caste land development and finance corporation under the department of social justice.
Madhvi Kataria (IAS: 2004: PB)- Special secretary, higher education and languages.
B Srinivasan (IAS: 2011: PB)- Director, mines and geology.
Poonamdeep Kaur- Managing director, Pepsu Road Transport Corporation, Patiala.
Komal Mittal (IAS: 2014: PB)- Additional secretary, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs.
Abhijeet Kaplish (IAS: 2015: PB)- Additional excise and taxation commissioner.
Sandeep Kumar (IAS: 2015: PB)- Additional deputy commissioner, Hoshiarpur.
