New Delhi (12.03.2021): PSBs are seen strengthening their management team by inducting a number of new executive directors with a lot of experience in practical banking. Central Bank of India (CBoI) has got two new EDs Vivek Wahi and Rajeev Puri. Wahi comes from BoI where he functioned as GM, while Puri was Chief General Manager with PNB. The UBI has elevated Nitesh Ranjan from the post of CGM to ED. Similarly, Imran Amin Siddiqui, Indian Bank GM, has been promoted and appointed as the Executive Director of the Chennai-headquartered public sector lender. Siddiqui has been appointed for three years and he assumed charge on March 10. AB Vijayakumar has joined Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) as EDs, moving from the post of Chief Vigilance Officer at Indian Overseas Bank. Further, Bank of India (BoI) has got three new EDs: Monika Kalia who was earlier CGM at UBI, Swarup Dasgupta, previously BoI GM, and M Karthikeyan, previously Indian Bank GM.
